To monitor the process and evaluate the success of the trial various forms of data were collected at different stages of the trial, including ICT infrastructure at trial sites, student background information, facilitator background information, communication patterns of students, blog communication patterns of students and facilitators, pedagogical support blog data and teleconference communication data using questionnaires, blog usage and communication analysis and teleconference communication recordings analysis.
