Project Structure & Work Packages

• Workpackage 1, iCamp Models: This WP defines the pedagogical and organisational models for cross-cultural collaboration, the pedagogical models for social instruction, role models and types of instruction, the pedagogical model for scaffolding (model of self-organised learning) as well as incentives models with learning contract.
• Workpackage 2, iCamp Building Blocks: WP2 will select the most appropriate systems available, adapt and localise the tools and platforms, define the collaboration environment, define the technical methods for experience sharing, create a self-organised environment including personal portfolio management and identify and contribute to relevant standards.
• Workpackage 3, iCamp Integration: WP3 will be responsible for the integration of the tools and platforms (collaboration and content). It will connect educational repositories, develop methods for ranking, integration patterns and perform technical testing. It will also apply and contribute to relevant standards.
• Workpackage 4, Validation Trials: WP4 is responsible for performing trials with students and educators to validate the social & pedagogical & scaffolding model and the appropriate support provided by the technical infrastructure.
• Workpackage 5, Dissemination & Exploitation: WP5 will focus on dissemination with regard to integrate academia from the NMS and the AC. It will also consider cooperation with other existing initiatives and projects. Business models for the future provision of the service and innovation related activities will be elaborated.
• Workpackage 6, Project Management & Assessment: The project management WP will take care of overall financial, administrative and quality issues. Apart from regular project management tasks this WP is also be responsible for consciously monitoring the project performance, achievements and perform risk management.
