iCamp handbook: How to Use Social Software in Higher Education

It is a practical guide as to how social software can be used in educational settings, especially in higher education.The handbook addresses in particular practitioners who would like to enhance their online teaching practices with pedagogical activities making use of Web2.0 technologies. Workshop on Mash-Up Personal Learning Environments (MUPPLE’08)

Mash-ups, the ‘frankensteining’ of software artefacts and data, have enabled a new generation of learning tools. Web-applications, services, and data can now be endlessly recombined, no matter where they reside. Really? How? Why? Within this workshop at this years’ European Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning (EC-TEL 2008), researchers, developers, and an interested public are brought together to share findings and define the future of mash-up personal learning environments.

iCamp Help Center

It has been developed the new iCamp Help Center which offers guides and tutorials for tools used in Trial 2. This system provides user-friendly assistance during installation and initial utilization of the products. The advantages of the iCamp Help Center are accessibility to everything via the only environment and the possibility of following the guides without interruption of the work with the tool. Moreover, you can register and ask for an additional help. From the administrator point of view, the changes in tools can be very easily and quickly updated.
